How I got here
I did not come into real estate from a straight line. I was working in technology, building a career, and at the same time I was learning what it meant to own property, improve it, rent it, and use it as a real financial tool. My first lessons came from real life, not from a stage. I saw how one home could become more than a place to live. It could become stability, income, and a door to the next decision. That is what pulled me in. I wanted to understand the business deeply, and then I wanted to help other people see what real estate could do for their lives.
Tampa Bay taught me more than any course ever could. I learned through neighborhoods, market cycles, short sales, investors, first-time buyers, and the moments when the market did not do what people expected. I lived through the highs, the corrections, the fear, and the recovery. Those years changed the way I advise people. I do not look at a property as just a pretty house or a good price. I look at timing, location, payment, condition, resale, and what that property can become. This market has different personalities from one zip code to the next, and experience teaches you how to read those details with patience and honesty.
Being bilingual is personal to me. It is not just a service I offer or a button on a website. I know what it feels like when a family is trying to make a major financial decision and the language around contracts, financing, inspections, and risk feels intimidating. Sometimes the difference is not just translation, it is understanding. I want people to feel respected in the language where they think, ask questions, and make decisions with their family. I work with all clients, but my connection to the bilingual community reminds me why trust matters so much. People deserve to understand what they are signing, what they are risking, and why it matters.
Becoming a broker-owner was about responsibility. I had worked with strong teams and learned from many sides of the business, but I wanted to build a company that reflected the way I believed real estate should be done. Chirino Real Estate gave me the ability to create a culture around education, bilingual guidance, ethics, and long-term thinking. I did not want clients to feel like they were being pushed through a transaction. I wanted them to feel advised. Owning the brokerage also meant I could train agents to slow down, explain more, and treat every client’s decision like it mattered beyond the closing table and into their future.
Today, I still believe real estate is one of the strongest ways to build options, but only when the decision is made with clarity. Most clients come to me asking about a house, a price, or a neighborhood. What they really need is someone to help them see the whole picture. Payment, risk, resale, timing, family, and future plans all matter. I want my clients to feel comfortable asking questions before they feel ready. I want them to understand the move they are making, not just sign papers. That is how I work now, and that is where I am headed: more education, more clarity, and more people building through real estate.

Three principles I work by
01.
Buy for position, not ego.
I’ve seen too many buyers choose the house that looks best, not the one that works best.
02.
Know the numbers before you fall in love.
We never make an offer until we sit with the numbers first.
03.
Every move should create the next option.
I want every decision to leave my clients with another door open.
